A message from Alessandra

I’m sure many reading this have had a frustrating and upsetting process looking for a therapist who is a good fit. I myself have had that same struggle. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to balance our desire for strong mental health with the pressures of modern life- but nobody does it alone. Seeking therapy is the first step in achieving the life you want or finding the help you need.

We all have thoughts and behaviors we want to change, but to do so in a substantial way, to live your best life, deeper introspection and understanding are required. I believe this is possible for anyone willing to do the work with me; I am here to facilitate those insights and help you live in alignment with your true self.

  • I was born and raised in Queens in New York City, proudly one of the most diverse places on Earth. I went to business school and worked in various corporate spaces before the stress, anxiety and depression of doing something I was not meant to be doing led me to the mental health field. Now I work in a space I am incredibly passionate about, doing what I believe to be very important work. I am energized every day by the thought of supporting people on their journey to a happier and healthier life.

I believe that we talk much slower than we think, and it is necessary to speak things out loud before we can make sense of them and calm our anxieties and depressive thoughts. I aim to create that space in a way that is dynamic and involved. I will absolutely not be the clinician that stares at you blankly and nods for 45 minutes.

My approach is straightforward and collaborative; I want to talk with you and not at you. I can be challenging and direct, but at the same time I want to provide everyone that comes into the office with a place where they feel supported, heard and cared for. I think my greatest strength as a clinician is that I do truly care about each case and I want you to succeed as much (if not more) than you do.
