A message from Josh

Hi, I’m Josh. I’m a therapist-in-training currently pursuing my graduate degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. My work is informed by psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed perspectives as I continue to deepen my training in each area.

I see therapy as a space where insight meets action. I’m a reflective but active therapist – someone who listens closely, and helps you hear yourself more clearly. Together, we make sense of your experiences, patterns, and emotions in a way that feels empowering instead of overwhelming. My role isn’t to hand you advice, but to ask the kinds of questions that help you find your own clarity and strength.

I offer individual psychotherapy and medication management for adults and transitional-age youth, both in person and via telehealth. My approach draws on psychodynamic theory, exploring how past experiences and internal conflicts shape the present, while integrating CBT tools to help you notice and shift unhelpful thought patterns in real time. I also work from a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the importance of safety, choice, and empowerment in the healing process.

Sessions with me are warm, conversational, and focused. I balance empathy with curiosity, helping you notice patterns, name emotions, and experiment with new ways of thinking and relating. Some days we’ll dive deep; other days, we’ll focus on the practical. Either way, our work will unfold at a pace that feels sustainable and meaningful to you.
