Meet the Facilitators

Kathy Ehrich Dowd, LMSW (she/her)
Kathy is a licensed psychotherapist in NY and NJ with advanced training in mindfulness and Emotionally Focused Therapy. She integrates trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based stress reduction to help clients quiet self-criticism and find calm. Kathy brings a grounded, compassionate presence that helps participants reconnect with their inner resilience.

Ron Sturm, MHC Intern (he/him)
Ron is a clinician-in-training with certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). His reflective, gentle style supports participants in exploring emotional balance and cultivating presence. Ron brings warmth, humor, and deep attentiveness to each session, helping others build a steadier relationship with themselves.
