About the Facilitators

Lucia Clohessy, LCAT-LP, MT-BC, CASAC, and Heather Hamilton, LMHC-D bring complementary perspectives to supporting individuals navigating the emotional, physical, and relational complexities of chronic pain.

Lucia Clohessy, LCAT-LP, MT-BC, CASAC brings a compassionate, trauma-informed approach grounded in traditional psychotherapy, somatic practice, and creative arts therapy. Her experience supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, grief, substance use, and difficult life transitions allows her to help group members explore experiences that can be difficult to understand or put into words. As a Board-Certified Music Therapist, Lucia can also incorporate creative and expressive approaches when appropriate.

Heather Hamilton, LMHC-D specializes in chronic pain and chronic illness and understands how ongoing health challenges can affect far more than the body—including identity, relationships, emotional well-being, and connection to daily life. Drawing from approaches including IFS, mindfulness-based CBT, somatic therapy, and EMDR, Heather helps clients explore the connection between physical and emotional well-being while building resilience, self-compassion, and greater flexibility.

Their job is to build a space that feels safe, grounded, and real.
