Clinician in Training, MSW Student

Victoria Holland

Victoria works with a wide range of individuals seeking greater clarity, relief, and self-understanding, with particular experience supporting queer individuals and veterans, as well as others who have lived through trauma. She also works with people who are exploring changes in their relationship to substances, navigating both traditional and non-traditional relationships, or questioning and deepening their understanding of sexuality and desire. Many of the people Victoria sees are dealing with anxiety, depression, or a sense of dissatisfaction that something isn’t quite right or fully expressed. While these areas reflect Victoria’s clinical focus and current training, she welcomes anyone looking for a thoughtful, affirming space to explore their inner experience at their own pace.

A message from Victoria

Looking for a therapist can be a vulnerable and often exhausting process, especially if you’re carrying things that don’t always have clear names or easy explanations. I believe trauma not only lives in our thoughts, but in our bodies and in the ways we relate to others. Healing happens best in spaces rooted in safety and respect.

My work is trauma-informed, with attention to how past experiences shape the ways we cope, connect, and protect ourselves. When working with individuals navigating substance use, I practice from a harm-reduction perspective, approaching these conversations with curiosity rather than judgment. I also affirm a wide range of relationship structures, including monogamous, poly, and open relationships.

You’re welcome to show up exactly as you are, and we can take the work one thoughtful step at a time.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, grounded, and deeply respectful of each person’s lived experience. I don’t believe in forcing change or rushing insight; instead, I focus on building a sense of safety, trust, and curiosity so we can understand what’s happening beneath the surface. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything figured out. We work together to make sense of patterns, emotions, and relationships, while also building practical tools that support you in everyday life.

I do this work because I’m interested in how people make sense of their experiences and how those experiences shape the way they relate to themselves and others. In our work together, you can expect a space that feels safe, supportive, and thoughtful with attention to both emotional understanding and day-to-day support. I often integrate mindfulness-based practices to help build awareness, slow things down, and create space around difficult thoughts or emotions. My role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of what you’re carrying and explore any shifts you’d like to make on your healing journey.
