Psychotherapist, MHC-LP

Kerrie-Anne Weickert

Individuals who gravitate toward my services are the overworked professional seeking relief from the demands of their lifestyle, the stifled artist yearning to rekindle their creative flame, and the defeated dreamer in search of empowerment and a renewed sense of purpose.

What unites everyone I work with is a felt resonance with my approach and a shared desire to enhance their current state of being.

A message from Kerrie-Anne

Before reading further, I invite you to pause – a micro-moment dedicated to slowing down and tuning in to the present.

Inhale deeply, filling your belly and chest with revitalizing air, and then exhale with a liberating sigh and audible “HAH.”

If you find yourself reading these words, you might be considering the possibility of working with a therapist. I want to acknowledge you and honor this courageous step toward understanding, healing, and empowering yourself. Embracing self-discovery and growth can be both challenging and immensely rewarding. This introspective process of working with a therapist is like learning to look into a mirror which reflects your whole self. This mirror may reveal aspects you recognize, unveiling insights or truths that were previously unnoticed. Additionally, it may present aspects that remain unseen, representing deeper layers of your psyche or aspects of yourself that have yet to be fully explored. Importantly, you're not alone in this reflection; a therapist's gentle presence and trained listening facilitate the deepening of this inward process.

Within each person resides a depth and complexity—an entire universe awaiting exploration. With heightened awareness, a broader perspective unfolds, allowing you to discern greater details, fostering clarity, and creating more space for responsive actions rather than reactions. This increased ability to respond effectively grows as you continue to expand your awareness of yourself. The therapeutic journey transforms into a collaborative exploration, uncovering the intricate layers of your inner universe.

  • My approach is grounded in the core belief that each person holds everything that they need within themselves to navigate life's challenges, and that healing is a collaborative process where we need others to help us recognize, feel, and trust that ability we possess within ourselves. I'm here to walk this path with you, providing a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you not only feel seen, heard, and supported but also learn how to see, hear, and support yourself simultaneously.

In our Integrative Sound Therapy sessions, we will practice mindful awareness and engage in a process of deep listening. Guided by a diverse selection of overtoning instruments and their physical vibrations, you, as the participant, will embark on a journey through immersive sound. Each session is carefully designed to regulate the autonomic nervous system and facilitate brainwave entrainment by aligning your brainwaves with the resonant frequencies of the tones, promoting relaxation. Integrative Sound Therapy draws on the latest research in neurobiology and psychoacoustics, offering an evidence-based approach to accessing expanded states of consciousness and fostering a healing state of being.

Together, we can explore your inner process and reflect on what it means for you to discover more about who you are. I look forward to connecting with you on your path of growth, hoping that our work together gives you the support to build resilience, creativity, and a more fulfilling path forward.
